The SHS issue when it comes to the employees in the bars and restaurants, it would seem to solve a lot of problems. They could even supply them to customers that want to hang out, but don't want to breath in SHS.

There are lots of companies that supply their employees masks, Hazmat,Welders, Fireman, Techs the list goes on and on.

On second thought why didn't OSHA force bar owners to supply masks to their employees, in the first place, if second hand smoke is so dangerous.

  1. I second that! I developed a horrible case of chronic bronchitus working in a restaurant/bar. Heres one more to add to your list casinos! I can hardly run to the nonsmoking fast enough and I feel so bad for the employees!

  2. OSHA does not approve anything, it must meet OSHA specification. Bar and Restaurant owner do not want to spend money on them, most people do not like to wear them, and it would be bad for business. People want to talk to a face and someone could rob the place while wearing a mask.
