Shouldn't the children be allowed to contribute to the solution to a genocidal question?

  1. science should ALWAY be part of school!

  2. Because if you can't read, write, add, or subtract, and know nothing of basic science, WHAT are you going to solve in regards to global warming? Global warming is a specialized problem requiring a specialized skill set. The reason the schools suck right now is because people want them to teach every last thing that comes to the top of their head.

  3. global warming is part of some schools.

  4. Mabye not number one, that should be reading, so they can read about science.  The problem is that economist's, corporations, and anthropogenic climate change skeptics have turned a scientific topic into a political one in an attempt to damage the credibility of the issue. To argue against global warming, is truly an argument against science as a whole

  5. Because the numbers 1 through 3 topics in school are and should be Reading, Writing, and Arithmatic.

Schools are there to provide education. Then you can use that education to solve problems. Making pollution and global warmong "the number one topic" totally subverts what they are there for.

  6. why scare the kids with such nonsense

  7. I would say that reading, math and basic science are much more important.

  8. Why should it be the number one topic?  Shouldn't they learn how to read past a 4th grade level in high school?
