Why not race?

hey i love to ride my dirt bike but my mom won't let me race

why not

what should i do

Do you have a flower for a mother? Take her to the races on Mums Day. Why don't you ask her why she won't let you race? How would I know why ? I don't know you or your mother. Sorry I mean Mum.

Well unfortunately it is up to your parents if you are underage as to whether they allow you to or not. The only thing you can do is ask mum if you are allowed to go along to race days and either join the club and ask to be given a job on the day or find someone who is racing who would like you to act as pit crew.  That way you are involved and mum may see that you are keen and eventually give in.

Don't be too hard on your mother as the sport is dangerous and at times I wonder what I was thinking allowing my kids to do it.  

Prove to your mum that you are responsible and who knows.

I agree with Auburn - Get mum & dad to attend some race meetings with you so they get the feel for it.

Like Auburn, My son (6) also races - but jno for a mum, it's real hair raising to watch their baby's to this kinda sport. I'm personnally well up for my boy to do his thing - that is untill he gets hurt, it may be a different ball game altogether then !!!

She'll come round in the end - if not, you just have to wait untill your old enough to make your own choices.

My Mom did the same thing. Convince her that your not going to be full fledge racing. Just a race every now and then. When she's kinda ok with it, push it a little farther. a few more races. let her see you ride. maybe get another adult to tell her how good you are. It works.

my mom was the same but you now what she wouldnr buy me a firt bike lol..so i waited till like my birthday found a good sale but brand new ..i got it the i wonted to race she was liekyou going to kill your self.....but you just need to ell her about motocross let her take time let her sleep on it but you have no say so but ..teach her how you can take safety class and to be safe let her chill out and tkank dont bug her
