Why not simplify the war on terror?

Just give the Middle East extremists plenty of food, shelter & a sense of safety, and I guarantee that they will become as apathetic as Americans.

That would be a social program.  Republicans hate social programs as much as they hate government and they do hate government.  For Republicans, real men and women use the military to solve social problems.  The only problem is that there will never be enough people in the military to solve all the social problems in the world.
