Really, it's why does sweat smell. You know after a long workout, you sit down, and realize that you can smell your feet from that far away.

Okay. First of all, there are two kinds of sweat glands. One is everywhere on your body and one is just where where it's hairy-ish. The one that is all over you body just gives out a salty water-fluid. The other one gives out oily fluid that bacteria living in those areas eat. The smell actually comes from the bacteria when eating the fluids. So, you're sweat doesn't smell, but bacteria flatulence does.

To stop the feet smell, always wear socks, wear ventilated shoes, stay away from constrictive footwear like boots. Use a strong antibacterial soap on your feet and scrub hard. You can also get those deodorant or sweat sticks.

Its your shoes that grow stinky bacteria. Bacteria loves the wet warm dark of your shoes. You transfer bacteria from shoe to shoe on your feet.
