  1. because the molecule of water is far apart and the molecule of  oil is stick together because of that oil and water don't mix

    you guys are right.  C doesnt answer the question, although it is a true statement.

    C - a true statement, but not an answer to the question. Ethanol is an organic liquid, but it does mix with water.

    D - oil is not hydrophilic, if it was it would mix

    E - the reverse, incorrect version of B


  4. I confirm the answer is B because the water is combine by H+ and OH- so it is polarity. Oil is not polarity

  5. Actually it is B. Miscibility is related to polarity of solvents and solutes.
