Why on Earth do we have to watch to Victorian footy teams on WA TV when the Olympics are on?

Channel 7 is a joke &  I for one hope a channel that puts on Aussie Rules instead of the Olympics doesn't ever get the rights again. Anybody have an email address for IOC's media arm.

because thats the problem with west australians (i am one). The problem being you dont realise there is more than 2 team in the comp. Im a saints fan, and i dont get to see them do a huge tribute to Robert Harvey there because its his last home game. Im annoyed it isnt going to be on TV.

You do not.  Turn off the TV.  Seven has no consideration for the international sporting scene.  Besides they are just in the dollar grab trying to appease both the AFL fans and those of us who are more intelligent and want the Olympics. We are really wasting our time as 7 would not read all this commentary on their rubbish coverage.  When they do cover the games we are subjected to second rate production that has a focus on the presenter, so called entertainment, a plethora of advertisements and packages of re runs.  They have a problem presenting material in an intelligent way.

I am very upset about this too. The finally of the Aths and not only that, it's not even 2 top afl sides playing. Not that it should be a factor. Once in four years and still AFL and the $$$$$$ win out!!
