Why on americas funniest home videos are the finalist videos usually not all that funny?

Well all the videos are staged anyway. Most of the time though they just get people filming a kid as the finalist or pets(at least that was how it was years back and I haven't watched it in a long time) so the funny ones wouldn't make it. Actually that's why I stopped watching. The show was just stupid.

I don't know, I was wondering the same thing! They usually put the stupidest ones, and they aren't funny in any way! Some of them seem cruel, too.
