  1. they glam rock

  2. An easily bribable and corrupt police force may be the answer. Child abuse is illegal in Thailand but that means nothing if they don't have the ability to police it effectively.

  3. Because they are a 3rd world country and have no other way of making money.

  4. organized crime is found everywhere in the world, there is a long road to go

sometimes we are naive and think we can solve things, just like that

at the moment its only getting worse, "Mafia" from Russia and China

making the millions its not the Thai people who benefit so much from the s*x industry

its very difficult to get the real bad guys

governments should work more together is a world thing

the Thai people alone can't fix the problem because of corruption and they don't have the money, simple as that

some police officers are pimps, just to feed their families

live is hard in Asia and slavery is normal, planting rice or working at a scrimp farm when you are a kid its all sh#t

its not the only the pedophiles from Europe we have to worry about, its the busloads from China who are coming

don't forget how much tax the people in the U.K. pay to fight crimes and does it help? nope

they still organize trips to Thailand everyday of the week!

an empty stomach knows no religion

  5. Tourism, before it became developed for family tourism that was all it had. A friend of a friends family used to go there in the 1970/80s for the young girls so I think it has been raking in the money for them for a long time.

  6. And the UK is mainly Christian but look at the sh*t that goes on here.

Talking of Bhuddists. Have you seen how the tibetans treat women and animals?

    Hmmm... thought not.

OK Plato. In Tibet a woman will marry a man, and is expected to sleep with all the male members of his family ! IF she falls pregnant it is assumed that her husband is the biological father.

IF a Dalai is coming to visit, they round up all the stray dogs that they do have a problem with in Tibet, lasoo them, pull the rope tight, drag them howling across the floor and batter them to death.

You only see and hear what you want to . The Tibetans are savage.

  7. It doesn't allow it. The country doesn't have the same infra-structure as the UK or US.

Also, what makes you think Thialand is any different to any other country?

  8. I don't think they are happy about it Plato ~ very poor people are allowing children to be bought and sold in this way.

Its about time s*x tourism was stopped from the country these pieces of filth live in.

There should be certain limits. Its one thing a stag party in Amsterdam at a brothel, but these paedos in Thailand ~ its obvious what they are after. Perhaps their passports should be rescinded for good?

  9. it doesn't allow it

  10. sort of place that seems to figure in this kind of thing isnt that the place where the pervy austrian and his mates went strange how a lot of these are austrian or beljerks beljeeks poirot place

  11. s*x tourism brings money into the country.

Thats the only reason I can think of and we all know money is the root of all evil.

  12. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any control over it, its not like they 'allow' it and they have harsh punishments (including the death penalty) for offenders.

Also, what do you mean 'thought it was mainly a Buddhist country'?! The majority of people may be of Buddhist faith but this is completely irrelevant to your question.

  13. simple, they are dirt poor. That's no excuse to us, but if you are starving, and they have no real economy, then many people turn to the only thing they have to sell, and that is themselves.

  14. It happens everywhere, most of it happens 'underground'

    It needs to be stopped.

  15. kiddy-fiddling is illegal in Thailand

  16. I don't think they do, as you see in our country and with our technology its so hard to stop it if people are adamant they are going to do it. Its prob more a picture the press present's of it truth be known :)

  17. It doesn't allow it anymore or less than Western countries.

  18. Have you ever been to Thailand.? I have so at least I do know what I am talking about. I can tell you that there are probably as many paedo's in any other countries as there are in Thailand where I can tell you the penalties for child abuse are far greater than most western countries, very similar to importing or even exporting drugs when even the death penalty can be given. The only odd law which I could never understand is taking any image of Buddha out of the country. They are really hot on that one.
