Why one can not read book while wearing contact lenses?

I am unable to read book while wearing lenses. Also hard to use computer. Its not the case with glasses.

My near sight is OK with glasses but only contacts have problems.

  1. contact lenses a generally set for you to focus at one length only primarily being distance vision. if you are over the age of 35 you may be having some trouble due to the naturally bodily changes. (The aging process is brutal i hear! =]   ) any how go to your local drug store while wearing your lenses, and pick out some over the counter readers, normally about a +1.50 to a +2.50 will work. Good luck and i hope this helps.


  2. Contacts are closer to your eyes so it may make it harder to focus. Glasses, being further from your eyes, probably make it easier to see. How old are you? Perhaps you're getting to the stage when you should consider some reading glasses to wear with your contacts?
