Why only eyes are called naked eye?

It is like that as we speak that i have seen that from my naked eyes, then why not hear form naked ears, smell form naked nose etc.

because we wear or use lens or binoculars and such to see further,we do say touch with bare hands because we can glove those or use tongs and forks and such to pick things up.the naked ear is a term too as we can have aids to help pick up tones we wouldnt usually.

It means what the average, normal eye can see without aid.  For example, bacteria cannot be seen with the naked eye.  It must be magnified by a microscope in order to view it.
