This man has been on Ohio's death row a very long time. He committed rape and murder and he is grossly obese and diabetic. He has been fighting his case a long time and has had a couple of of his execution dates stayed. Personally, I know many Ohioans are tired of this and want the deed done. This man is narcisstic and the story is all about him, he has not shown an ounce of remorse for the brutal rape and murder of two young women.

I'd like to know why or why not this man should not be put to death. The law as far as I know it does not guarantee that if you are sentenced to die that it should be painless.

  1. He should be executed for his crimes. but now since they allow certain personnel and victims family members to watch the execution, they don't want any unusual disturbances during the process and it would be considered more humane not see to see the inmate showing signs of distress or facial emotions of pain or screaming during the lethal injection. For people that size they should increase the medication dose to see that it works quickly.

  2. It's kinder than the murders he committed.

  3. lmao

  4. Kill him.   Wait.... let someone else do to him what he did to his victims, then kill him.

Worthless piece of cosmic trash taking up air someone decent could be using.

  5. He's worried that the prison authorities won't find a good vein and that it will hurt when the put the IV in him.  My guess is that he's not going to get very far with that argument.

A guy in Washington, obese, picked hanging as his method of execution.  Then he claimed that because he was obese there was a chance his head would be yanked off when they hanged him and demanded the execution be stopped.

He hanged and the state did a fine job of it too.  He died dancing... at the end of the rope.

  6. Executions are very poorly done in this country, especially if it's lethal injection (which I think in almost every state it is). Literally there have been cases where the criminal takes 20-30 minutes to die, and since they're usually semi-immobilized, who knows what kind of agony they're experiencing. Since this guy is obese, this is more likely to happen as they'll probably have to inject him more than once in order for the drugs to hit a lethal dose.

That said, I can't wait until the b****** gets the torture that's coming to him.

As for the painless thing, we do have that whole "cruel and unusual punishment" thing, which basically says "you can't torture anyone to death no matter what they did". I would assume injecting someone with poison and letting them suffer for half an hour would be cruel and unusual to some degree. Problem is very few people really care enough to stop evil people like this guy getting what's coming to him.
