  1. Well, when I first bought my 2000 Beetle it only cost me $15 to fill it up and now it is over $40.  Personally, I hope the high prices force people around the country to support increased funding for public transportation.  Where I now live it doesn't come to my neighborhood but when I lived in a larger city I used it all the time and would again if it was routed in my part of town.   Right now the high cost hasn't made much of an impact - I now car pool with my husband but if it goes up over $4 or $5 dollars we will feel it since we are only middle income people and live in a very expensive part of the country.  I don't know how low income people do it . . . .

  2. I ride a mountain bike.

  3. only reason is that North America ppl r too cheap.... they want to get the highest quality and quantity things with the lowest price

so then they just complain and complain....

if those ppl don't like the high pricing then take the public transports.....

  4. Only .40 cents higher?  Just a few years ago it was under $1.50/gallon, now it's $3.60 a gallon.  You are not good at math huh?

  5. People make the same amount of money, yet, the expenses go higher.  Also, when the gas prices go up all of those businesses have to increase their prices.  It means, the businesses increase their prices through what they sell.  I used to be able to do grocery shopping with less money.  Now you get less groceries with the same amount of money.  Whether you drive or not the gas prices affect you.

  6. Will concidering gas is going up and as gas goes up EVERYTHING goes up. Grocery's will become more expensive since transporting them to store will cost more along with as someone said people are getting paid the same. When I began driving 2 years ago it cost me about $35 to fill up my car. I am a college student and now it cost me $58 to fill up. When you begin to drive and get a job you will understand. Gas will be even more so you will have to pay even more than $60 just to fill up and usually people fill up once a week. I think the average teenager makes about $7 an hour (around minimum wage). You would have to work about 12 hours just to pay for your gas after taxes are taken out. That is if gas stays where it is at. So as gas goes up, everything else goes up and in today's world, people live average 10 miles from their job so driving is a must for everyone.

  7. WOW only 40 cents? Dang around here it went up 2 dollars! And the reason my parents complain is because they are making the same amount of money they did 10 years ago as they are now, and now everything costs more.

  8. you say that gas is 40 cents higher and thats no big deal, but that 40 cents adds up every time you buy gas, especially if you have a gas guzzling suv. you have to remember that the price went up by 40 cents a gallon. if your car carries lots of gallons of gas, the price is considered expensive. when you get a car hopefully you will understand.

  9. Well, since gas goes up in price and people don't get paid more money as the gas prices go up, it costs a lot more to get gas.

I remember when gas cost less than $1.50 (as I'm not that old, people older than me, remember when it cost a lot less than $1.00)

A little while back, it cost me $22 to fill my tank on average.

Now it cost me $40 to fill my tank on average.

Also, as gas prices go up, so doesn't anything else. And just because prices go up, doesn't mean people will get paid more (they don't/won't).

Stop being an ignorant little boy who still relies on mommy for money.

  10. money adds up,stupid im 15yrs old and i kno that, so stfu and stop looking ignorant
