Because they have very few athletes and they just aren't as good as the big countries who win lots of medals.

philippines:  third world nation.

poor nations like india , philppines do not enought food to eat, half people cannot read-write.

how can they Win at Olympics.

Already listed in the medal table ( from South East Asia ) are

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam

Philippines receives rotten eggs.

i dont think the sportmen are trying hard enough,this is a very good chance for all sportsloving people to learn from the olympics

I think they weren't better enough than other athletes were in the Los Angeles Games in 1932 but they are trying to do the best than the best they can do, just like what they do in the last Philippine SEA Games in 2005. Another reason is that they were a little excited about their bid to host the Olympics in 2024 but it wasn't successful.
