Why political party on power utilising public places/govt bldgs for public meeting?

Meetings in public places are cheaper for politicians which should not be the case if not for the good of the people.

The same reason Harvard, Yale, the University of Texas, Houston, want the political parties to debate at their schools-- exposure.

The media will be covering any debates and meetings. Young students who are of voting age will be interviewed. The media will have hours of coverage.

The media doesn't care what party wins--reporters  just want to get their face on TV.
