Why punish us for not believing?

if god loves us all and forgives us for our sins why does he want to tear us in pieces and send us to h**l just for not believing in him even if we lead a good and honest life

There is only one way to become alive and that is to ask God to give you spiritual life from above.  He offers pardon to all who believe that He sent His Son to die in our place, and raised Him from the dead.

Those who accept his plan are "Born again" from above and receive the holy Spirit in their lives to guide and comfort them.  Those who do this are guaranteed to be with God eternally.  Those who do not accept this will not be with God.

People get caught up in the details of location and  what conduct is acceptable.  Just accept God's plan and the rest is easy.

We are all sinners. Have you lied, stolen, disobeyed your parents, taken Gods name in vain, looked at a person with a sexual thought, hated someone, coveted something that didnt belong to you? We all have, and we all deserve h**l. The wages of sin is death. Who is going to pay your fine? You? or Jesus Christ? He has already paid it. When He died on the cross. And took your punishment. You must repent ( turn from your sins, forsake them ) and trust in Christ to save you. Not just believe in Him. If you had to jump out of an airplane, you wouldnt just believe in a parachute, you would put it on and trust in it as if your very life depended on it. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and trust in him as if your very life depended on it....because it does....

  The idea of a loving God sending people to h**l for eternity is not easy to accept.  Why would God, who is full of mercy and grace, send people to a place of torment for ever and ever for not trusting in Jesus even though they are nice people, or never heard of Jesus, or were sincerely trying to find God?  Is that fair?  Is that right?

     When people ask these questions, they are appealing to what they perceive as fairness.  They are looking at the issue from their human perspective.  But this perspective is not necessarily the right one.  If God exists, and He does, then it is He who is the One who says what is right and fair, not us.  So, we need to see what the Bible says about what is right regarding sin and salvation and make a decision afterwards.

     The Bible tells us that God is holy, "You shall be holy, for I am holy," (1 Pet. 1:16).  Holiness is incorruptibility, perfection, purity, and the inability to sin, all of which which are possessed by God alone.  Holiness is the very nature of God's character.  His character is perfect, without flaw, and He is the standard of all that is right and good.  

     The Bible also says that God is infinite , "Great is our Lord, and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite," (Psalm 147:5).  If God's understanding is infinite, then God is infinite in nature.  

     The Bible tells us that God is love.  "And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him," (1 John 4:16).  God cares about us and seeks our well being and security.  His thoughts about us are infinite and His love is too.  This is why God does not desire that anyone go to h**l, but that all come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9).

     The Bible tells us that God is righteous.  "God is a righteous judge," (Psalm 7:9).  His righteousness is part of His character just as are mercy and love.  Righteousness deals with justice and justice deals with the Law.  This means that God will always do that which is right and He does so according to the righteous Law that He has set forth.  God cannot do anything wrong.  God must do that which is right, otherwise He would not be righteous.

     Jesus said that "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks," (Matt. 12:34).  So too with God.  He speaks out of the abundance of His heart.  God spoke the universe into existence, "Let their be light," (Gen. 1:3) and He also spoke forth the Law (Exodus 20 - the Ten Commandments, etc.).  Therefore, the Law of God, is a reflection of God's character, because it comes out of what He is, holy, perfect, righteous, and good.  Therefore, the Law is a standard of perfection.  It is perfect and if we do not keep it perfectly, then we have offended the God who gave it; after all, it is a reflection of His character.  To break God's Law is to offend (sin against) God. Since it is law, there is punishment because there is no Law that is a law without a punishment.  This means that when we break the Law of God, we fall under the judgment of the Law of God.  Since He is infinite, our offense against Him is takes on an infinite quality because we have offended an infinitely holy and righteous God.

It's not that. You are not forgiven of your sins. The savior Jesus Christ washes away your sins. You have to accept Him as your personal savior and He will make you white as snow. You can't just say I believe in God that's not enough you have to accept His Son and the sacrifice He did to have your sins forgiven only then can you avoid the wrath of h**l.

As thoughts proceed actions and as the Bible says that a man with faith has works, I think that also a man without faith has works that are not good in God's sight.  I don't think it's for us to say what is good in life but it is for God to say what is good in life.

Wrong question.  Eternal life is available only as a gift from the Savior YAHOSHUA.  It is like a marriage contract.  Take His name, follow His rules, and you become His 'bride' and He saves you.  If you choose to reject His offer, why do you think you are safe to save?  Why should He, or how can He, save those who refuse to avail themselves of His program?

Just for you to know the truth

There have to be a purpose for life otherwise we will miss the peaceful path of happiness so we want to be just better everyday

So, spiritually, what is God? , What’s makes God as god? , What is God’s Power? , For all sort of these questions, I have very limited understanding so Let me give you the point. Well, just try to know, what’s makes God as god, the Power, isn’t it? So what the power can do? Ah? Well, it can give the ability to organise all things & it can give the ability to separate everything and most importantly, the Ability to control everything, isn’t it? Isn’t it good? Ah? So, what I try to say here is, from my hard study and research effort with the help from god, I realized that the ability to control everything, the Power of God is gradually increased in the full amount to use so; The Power of God is always the omnipotent and existed among everything. & The God now is always the same omnipotent for us, who is organised us and we are growing towards perfection. The perfection is the final stage, not the end. & The Power of God, the Ability is the reward for us to control everything in a proper manner, like the true God of goodness. & Everlasting Happiness is the final stage. & it cannot come alone without the final stage perfection of God. & if god always perfect in perfection then there have to be beginning with God for the organizing progress of all things. So, there is No end and also No beginning for all things, including this on going organizing progress. So we cannot get anything from nothing. & how could that be possible to be perfect in perfection always, ah…? No way has the perfection of god come first or the growth towards perfection. There is No End and there is No beginning and so the Ability is for the Love of Joy & ~ LOVE IS THE ABILITY ~

If you don’t still agree, then note this important point: - you can use any thing for Good or Bad so, whenever possible If you ask the god for the good reason to give you the ability perfection, because of your obedience, then the God will give you, if the god is good and Almighty. Simple logical prove (the evidence) for this concept. So,

If you are humble, please... Pray to know the truth from true God by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit with great faith and. Good in Bad & Bad in Good so the values are most important. God gave us the rights to do what is right for you & sometimes, things can be right in your point of view but wrong in Public point of view so Basically, just pray about it for the Good Answer and try to do the God's will first always & If you think, why so much trouble and pain in this world…? Then there is only one reason, without pain, No pleasure and without pleasure, no pain. So without them, we cannot enjoy this life so always we need them in our development towards the perfection of God. So-so you use pain and pleasure instead of pain and pleasure use you. I mean the vision of your future should be clear & it have to pull you rather than you have to push so you must link a lot of pleasure in order to succeed in the Best job. When you feel strong enough links a lot of pleasure in your subconscious mind and your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure. & It is wonderful nature for us by the true God. And we all make mistakes so it is hard to look for star in daylight. So just in faith… it is possible. Like that the faith in true God. &  If you think, even expert can be wrong then you have to make the fine research in all most everything so It is hard and some time, it is impossible to achieve so Why we need inappropriate action to find the owner of higher power? So, because of Lack of faith in true God, we do not have the great gift of understanding of things. & All things are spiritually first, to govern by God with glory so closely, Have a look at this world of wonders of yours and then you know the truth, when you listen to your real voice and then Having a strong desire to do the best every day then stick with the best to do your best. And most importantly, try to be grateful for what you have now & try to know where you come from to have the great gift of understanding and then, have the faith to become the best winner in your life. & The Law of mercy cannot rob the Law of justice so Justice demands the punishment of our sin but The Law of mercy requires the forgiveness to give to us and God is perfect in perfection so cannot violate his laws so The God provided the way to our salvation to overcome our sin so Jesus Christ sacrifice is much needed to return to live with God, so Jesus Christ is our savior.

i  think  thats a very  good  question. i  don't  think  a good person will end up in h**l  just cos he doesn't   believe in god!

neither do i think  a person who commits  murders and rapes will  go to heaven  even if he believes in god!
