  1. it's a hole in your eye leading to your retina. the only thing protecting the pupil is a clear thin sheeting called the cornea

hope this helps with your question

  2. why sky is blue?

  3. who answered with why is the sky blue, it is a reflection off the oceann.. duhh !

umm Why is the pupil black ? ,  well I will try explain as simply as i can.

It appears black because most of the light entering the pupil is absorbed by the tissues inside the eye. In optical terms, the anatomical pupil is the eye's aperture and the iris is the aperture stop. The image of the pupil as seen from outside the eye is the entrance pupil, which does not exactly correspond to the location and size of the physical pupil because it is magnified by the cornea. On the inner edge a prominent structure, the collarette, marking the junction of the embryonic pupillary membrane covering the embryonic pupil.

hope it makes sence and answers your question.

    good luck.

  4. I had lots for black pupils in my class. It eas an inner city school so they was why they were black,.

  5. Because that's where light enters the eye.  It all enters and none is reflected.  We can only see if light is reflected back to us from an object.  No light reflected, therefore we can't see it, i.e. it looks black.
