  1. There is no reason you can't use a towel several times after a shower or bath. You are right, you are drying a clean body. I have two towels that I alternate daily. Just make sure that you hang them up to dry. In this economy we have to do all we can to conserve water (to wash the towels) laundry detergent and electricity (to dry the towels).

  2. Why indeed.  It is not necessary and wastes valuable resources not to mention your own time and energy.  If it doesn't smell and looks clean then carry on using it, keep your own towel to yourself though.  When you do wash it put it on a hot wash to kill bacteria.

  3. ~~I believe the way you do too. However in about 3 days (probably because our bathrooms are not the best in ventilation) the towel doesn't smell clean and fresh so I change them out. I think it's from slowly drying on a rack.~~

  4. the towel is wet and it gets moldy if not

  5. I've often wondered the same thing.  Sometimes my house guests do that.  Ticks me off.

  6. I use my towels 2 times

  7. As you dry off, you are also rubbing off millions of microscopic flakes of skin.  I wouldn't want to wipe my face on a towel full of so much skin.  There are bacteria on your skin (don't worry, it's normal) which eat the dead skin and they can multiply on a used towel and make it smell bad.

Not to mention that you may also use it to dry your feet and private parts.  Ewwwww

  8. I don't feel right just using it once and tossing it in the laundry, either. But I don't go too long, because repeated dampening and slow drying will cause some musty buildup with time, which you will want to wash out. The buildup can be worse if you don't have a well-ventilated bathroom.
