why arent next bikes good????

Hop on a real bike and find out for yourself.  It's not that Next bikes aren't good, it's just that compared more expensive, higher-quality bikes, they suck.  Once yuo try a real bike you won't go back.  But for now, go ahead and enjoy life on a cheap Next, know one's gonna judge you.

They use cheap materials, the componet such as the brakes do not work well, they are heavy.... the list goes on and on. Think of them as disposeable bikes. Ride 100 miles and they are done.

To compare test ride a Next-oh that's right you can't at Kmart. Well get your hands on a used one at a garage sale and ride it. Then go to a bike shop and ride basically anything there. You will feel the difference. While you are there, take a ride on a bike that costs $3000.

I think they call them Next because it will only be a matter of time--a short time--before you get your next bike.

Keep it in the big ring.

because the are pieces of s**t.  they are made cheaply, are heavy, have c**p components on them...add all these up and it turns into something that is unsafe and unfit to ride after 500-1000 miles.  ride one and any experienced cyclist will look at you oddly and wonder why you are riding what you are riding.

they sell them at wal mart i got a bike from them one year ago a rode 1,200 miles and my freewheel was worn out already  next bikes are bulit cheap cheap cheap cheap!!!!!!

because they are made poorly and sold cheap because of it.

The people they target their bikes for is the "low-end I don't want to pay one penny more than I have to and this is still to much money crowd". Therefor you get what you pay for, cheap for the cheap.
