I have already been to your website before and now I ask that you visit the link I provided you. I don't np which lies you are speakinf of, but Through my ivestigation of the mormon beliefs I have found a majority of their teachings to completely contradict the Bible. To answer your question of why are people so against the mormons. My answer would be I am not. I am against their false teachings and I am actually for the mormons because they are obviously concerned about their eternal life but through the deceitfulness of satan have believed a lie and now have a faith that is not of salvation. I truly love the LDS/Mormon people and I make an all out effort to preach the true gospel of Christ to every single one of them I get the chance to, no matter how many times I get called a mormon bashing biggot. If I didnt truly care for them I wouldn't bother, but I know that Jesus died on the cross for all mankind including mormons, and it is my duty as a Christian to share this good news with all who will listen even those who wont. Now does this make me a mormon bashing biggot?

  2. AMEN MR.ZOOM ZOOM YOU SHOULD HAVE BEST ANSWER ,IF YOU DON'T I WILL BE SHOCKED, I COULD WRITE MORE BUT HAVE TO GO ,GOD BLESS.ONE MORE THING MORMONISM IS THE "RESTORATION CHURCH,ONE MORMON APOLOGIST I ONCE DEBATED SAID TO ME "IF CATHOLICISM DID NOT APOSTATIZED ,THEIR IS NO REASON FOR THE MORMON CHURCH ,SO I SHOWED HIM NOT THERE WAS NEVER A TOTAL APOSTASY,THERE WERE BAD PEOPLE BUT NEVER TAUGHT BAD DOCTRINES.TODAY THIS EX-MORMON HIGH PRIEST IS NOW A CATHOLIC DEACON. GOD BLESS.

  3. it's the same reason why there is so many people against everything else, there's got to be an opposition in all things.

  4. I don't have a thing against Mormons. I think they are fine. I once offered and gave a ride to some walking Mormon guys because it was pouring down rain outside. They were hesitant when I offered, but they ended up taking the ride anyway. They were very polite and thankful.

I think some people are just against polygamy. However, I think if it is O.K. with those participating, then it is fine for them. To each his or her own, I say.

  5. Because they are not true christians and because they read the book of mormon.....which the book is not assiocated with the bible. And we dont hate them....we just don't agree with them

  6. because u are very intimidating when u come door knocking with leaflets etc. U shouldn't try and force your beliefs onto others. Plus u are linked with the church of latter day saints which as we all know is a corrupt group of criminals who hide in sects or cult communities abusing the young.

  7. Not against them at all.  The South Park episode, All About Mormons made me laugh.   Laughter is the best medicine.

  8. I understand how you feel. Being LDS can be tough sometimes, but He never said it would be easy, He only said it would be worth it. Just remember that often when people do not like something it is because they don't understand it. People do not like not understanding things. I hope this helps.

  9. Once you've been labeled polygamist perverts and dirty sheep ******* it's hard to lose the label.

Mormons are ok.....my state had a mormon governor and he had no problem getting elected but I come from a state with allot of questionable characters.

  10. Because they're an evil cult that practices polytheism and destroys families based upon the false "prophesis" of Joseph Smith who invented his "religion."

  11. afraid of the unknown- that is human nature, albeit wrong

  12. My friend invited me to her Mormon church. Afterwards, I attended a 'bible study'. During this study, a bunch of them surrounded me like a pack of hungry dogs and started trying to convert me. After that, I made the decision to never go to another Mormon church again.

  13. I'm just annoyed with cults and the people that don't have the sense not to join them.

And members of these cults trying to convert others.

  14. because they don't understand them.

  15. I gave them a chance. My dad was a Mormon High Priest and my autn and uncle worked at the emple in D.C.

It's not that I'm against Mormons, I'm against Mormonism. Here's 5 things that prove it worng.

1 DNA testing has proven Native American Indians, Polynesians, and Aleutes (Eskimos) are from Asia, and not Israelites as the Book of Mormon says, thus proving it and Joseph Smith false.

    2. The Book of Abraham in the Pearl of Great Price is not a lost book of the Bible, but just a Pagan document called The Book of The Dead, thus proving Smith a false prophet.

    3. Mormon temple rituals and other things were not the result of "divine revelations", but were simply plagiarized from Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

    4. Joseph Smith was fooled by the Kinderhook Plates, thus proving he was a false prophet.

    5. Joseph Smith falsely predicted that all Mormons alive in 1830 would live to See Christ return.

    {Note to Yahoo Answers, I have answered the question}

  16. I gave your site a peek and I noticed it mainly quotes the NT.  Very little is said from the book of Mormon.  Having that book alone calls it into question.  From what snippets I have read better verses exist in the NT so why bother?  Second here is a quote from your page that I find fault with  "Because the Church was no longer led by priesthood authority and revelation, error crept into Church teachings.  Good people and much truth remained, but the gospel? as established by Jesus Christ was lost, resulting in a period called the Great Apostasy?."  I do not believe the priesthood authority has gone by the way side nor has the Gospel stopped since Jesus first breathed life into it.  Too many people have died for the gospel for such a claim to be true.  It is a slap in the face of every martyr to say they died in error.

I also do not believe in the way you practice exclusive rites and forbid family not of LDS to partake in marriage and burial.  Then there is the whole thing about baptizing in the place of others.  None is upheld in scripture.  I am sure I could go on but I think that is enough.

    2. The Atonement

    Russell M. Nelson

Scripture teaches that “Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.” 7 The Fall of Adam (and Eve) constituted the mortal creation and brought about the required changes in their bodies, including the circulation of blood and other modifications as well. 8 They were now able to have children. They could again function without blood, just as Adam’s and Eve’s did in their paradisiacal form.

  18. Mormons are following another gospel.

Gal 1:8   Let God's curse fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other message than the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.

Gal 1:9   I will say it again: If anyone preaches any other gospel than the one you welcomed, let God's curse fall upon that person.

  19. I don't really have anything against Mormons. I've known several in my life and they have all been very nice people, some of them good friends. I think their religion is nuts, however, and I notice there are quite a few report monkeys on here that totally freak if you say anything negative about their religion.

  20. just disagreement and wanting to be left alone on our pvt property....we believe in THE TRINITY......NO thanks...

  21. I'm not against mormons, I'm against some of mormonism's teachings which I believe are harmful.

I gave it a chance for over 30 years, and it failed.  Your link only gives part of the story.

  22. Most mormons I know are nice enough people, but they are kind of a drag at parties. In other words, I like people who get drunk and act like total idiots such as myself, and most mormons don't fall into that category.

  23. Do you really think that people are not aware of both sides of the "Mormon question"?  I have examined various Mormon "evidence" for the BOM and  I find it to be of the same substandard caliber that most Christians present.  In other words, the Aztec had a form of cement therefore the BOM is completely true!

Every time I see symbols, including the beehive and the aprons, of Mormonism the first thing that comes to mind is Freemasonry.

  24. Don't have anything against the mormons. The mormon community up here is very polite, kind and respectful.

    X

  25. i can not speak for others but as for me i do not believe joseph Smith was a prophet this is due to the fact that the bible clearly states that there would be no prophets sent us after john the baptist (Christ was not a prophet He is the living word God who walks among us) yet the mormons claim smith was a prophet this is not biblical therefor his teachings r of man not God i stick to God's word not mans

  26. The Bible, history, science, and archaeology refute Mormonism and this is why we refuse it.
