Why r some businesses so successful but others fail terribly?

Because some business people have no business sense. If you cannot budget money you will fail. If you do 'favors' for family and certain clients you will lose money.

I have worked for two independent business owners who brought about their own demise by trying to be every ones friend. Just remember you are in business to make money not friends and you cannot give away your goods and services to please people. Because they will keep coming back but they will never pay once you have let them off the first time.
