How about this: I have been told I am really handsome & all that jazz, but I have a problem being shy.

I haven't even had a girlfriend in the past 9 years.

I'd rather I be average & not shy...

As the years go by, you start to catch/notice various people staring at you...throw that on top of being shy, & I'm quite anti-social.

What you see on tv is a lie. There is no such thing as a perfect person that is handsome & witty & rich & etc., etc...everybody has flaws, *everybody*. They make everybody *think* that's how it is, because they are in it for money. Ratings = Money. Pretty people = Ratings

As others have suggested: keep clean, never too much cologne(if any), clothes don't have to be all fancy/richy but they should be clean, keep your face very clean (don't touch it with dirty fingers, easy on the chocolates, I use Dove soap), & just be yourself. I know everybody says that last one, huh? Well, it's true. If you are a nice person, girls will know...just give it time, don't rush it. Let your awesomeness rub off on her...& if no luck, move on to the next.

Keep this last bit in mind: Looks fade away with age, but if you're a nice guy then you will be cool even when you are an old. Yep, "cool" is just a fancy word for nice.

Have any shy advice you can give me? You seem quite confident asking questions on the Net and all...so I'll chicken out and ask here,  instead of making a new post. ;)
