Why rabbits are soundless ?

i had for many years rabbits but all those yars i didnt hear any sound come out of them.

  1. They aren't. They will scream when in pain - for example, when caught by a predator. They also growl when they're angry, just like a cat or dog, and grind their teeth when contented. In addition, they thump their hind feet on the ground when alarmed, to warn other rabbits of the danger.


  2. they do..ive heard them scream,like a banshe...my dad has 100's...normally very quiet but the do make noise.

    They are prey animals and don't want to draw attention to themselves.

  5. Because you haven't tried to kill them. Rabbits are not soundless, they have quite a scream when a hawk, cat, snake, what have you gets ahold of them...
