Why rain water fall in drizzle form?

why does rain occurs in drops form why does it donot fell like tap water or huge tubewell water in one place only.

Volume of cloud, density of cloud and loss of heat from cloud , are factors for formation of water droplet size.

It is not always in drizzle style,in case of cloud burst it is like water fall.

High density and rapid cooling rate can result in rain like icey stone falling.
