Why rape when there are plenty of escort girls, girls on net service and prostitution?

"expensive" wouldn't make a very good reason. there are girls who would go over even just for some penny! not just that, even free services are here and there. in another words, freesexual relationships; of gf/bf/scandals whatever it is.

It is all about Power and Control. About dominating another human being and treating them as low as their demented minds need in order for them to believe that they are superior. Watching their victims respond in a manner of fear, confusion and submission removing all signs of any dignity or freewill. It is about degradation and humiliation of the subject. Some do this in order to fool themselves into thinking they have regained their own control and power to choose. This is often due to the fact at sometime in their life they too were victimized. They may feel that they have no control over their life so they take control over someone Else's. They are entrenched in their own fear and to watch someone exhibit a greater degree than themselves somehow makes them feel , maybe it isn't so bad. Also we all know misery loves company. Often perpetrators will perceive a character or personality quality about their victim they wish they had. Or one that makes them feel extremely inferior to their targeted subject.

Rape is a crime of rage and control, not passion. It is commited by people who are angry and feel they have no control over their own lives and relationships.

Even if prostitution was legal and they gave it away it would not stop rapists because s*x is not really the issue, control is.

They feel the need for compete domination over another.

I believe you have to be mentally ill to be a rapist.
