  1. The earth will recycle us whether we do or not.

But we should recycle to save our lifestyles and our pocketbooks.  I don't need lying Liberals to scare me into doing what is really in my own best interest anyway.

  2. well paper we recycle because it can then be used again so we don't have to cut down more tree's, cans can be used again to make more cans, a part of a car, or part of a plane... plastic can be used again to make more plastic bottles and other plastic items. so really we do it so that we can use items away and so we don't have to cut down tree's or melt things in a big factory which give off high amounts of greenhouse gasses

  3. Well, you see, if we don't recycle, we won't have anything to use in the future. The natural sources used to make our daily products are getting lesser as we speak. What's the point of burning them into ashes and create a worldwide rubbish dump when you can just recycle them and have new ones.

  4. 1) It stops the destruction and consumption of natural resources which otherwise would not need to be used.

    2) It avoids the creation of landfills; huge areas filled with piles of human waste, lost space, stinking up the air and being a temporary solution to an ever growing problem.

So yes, it is certainly important, from both an environmental AND an economic position, as land not spent on dumping waste can be used for housing or for businesses.

  5. it helps prevent global warming 4 more info go to ask.com and type in ur yopic vote me best answer

  6. Recycling is a respect to not be dismissed so easilly. The indemic population of N. America held this truth to be true so closely that spiritual rules and ritual were developed and enforced around this one important concept of co-hesion! Look to the ideals of most american-indian tribes and nations to garner what they see as real and respected truth.

  7. simply stated., recycling reduces the amount of waste. In particular, items like plastic and plastic products are difficult to naturally decompose ( if you've ever heard the term "biodegradable" it refers  to an object's ability to decompose chemically into natural chemicals that soil and bacteria can absorb in order to maintian life like carbon, hydrogen and what not). when i comes to paper, it's important in order to save trees and vegetation vital to all aspects of the biosphere.  Aluminum and glass recycling reduces energy used and wastes produced in their manufacturing processes.  These days, even recycling is being put under the microscope to find ways of reducing energy uses and waste products in the recycling process itself.  A good example of this is a company called Waste Management who runs landfills and recycling centers uses the methane produced from waste and recycle that by selling it back to energy plants in order for them to reduce their energy consumption and waste production.  Well, i hope that's a start.

  8. It's very important because we contribute to global warming by polluting our planet.  Recycling greatly reduces how much we pollute and plus we get second uses on things!

  9. According to Malthusian concept, earth is a spaceship having limited  amount of resources. to survive in this limited amount of resources we have to conserve them. that is why recycling will be a prerequisite sooner or later.
