  3. red is red because of a lot of reasons:

    pigment used - is it a bright red or a dark red? a light red or a blueish red. pigment determines the color.

    everyone sees the color red differently. you could have the exact same color and two people look at it nad they would describe it differently. Have them identify the color by writing it down independently because orally they may influence the other person.

    language used to identify the color red. - universally red is red (sameness).

    However, red can be viewed as a HOT color and red can be viewed as a COLD color depending on where you live. How you interpret color is not universally the same.

    lighting determines the color and intensity of the color as well.
