  1. Why don't the rich people of  India donate generously for charitable cause ...like, old home, orphanage, leprosy centre, rehabilitation and many other centres.

It's the same mentality that works in the mind of rich nations towards the poorer nations.

  2. Greed!

  3. Well, it would depend on what you consider rich and poor. But if you view rich and poor as I do then I can only think of a few reasons. Some very rich Muslim countries would never give anything to non-Muslim countries. Also, conflicting government policies/relations would be a factor. So the main factors are governments and religion.

  4. most rich countries steal weak countries' resources !

so I think it is better for you to ask :

why don't  rich countries really stop stealing poor countries?

    ♪♫

  5. america

  6. It is for the same reason that a rich person does not want to part with his riches to the poor. The fear of poverty is endemic in our psyche. This fear is lurking in all our minds. That is the secret behind our avarice. The rich nations want to perpetuate their position of advantage. It requires a lot of moral courage to send all their surplus to the needy and poor who require it badly.

  7. help them how---

We try by promoting democracy and capitalism---the best way to make a country and it's people richer.

But democrats keep trying to stop us and make us give away all our stuff to them through taxes.

  8. excuse me how wrong you are

when the earthquake hit indonesia a few yrs ago australia raised 20 million dollars in 4 hrs for indonesia that was in addition to govt aid pledged to indonesia ....countries like usa canada nz uk etc all pledged aid to indonesia where id it all go corrupt indonesian officials

do u know how much aid pours into africa from the so called rich nations

il provide you with an example

millions of dollars are given in aid to sudan ...do you know what happens to this aid ...once it is in the hands of the sudanese govt they will partially distribute it to northern parts of sudan which r predominantly muslim ....because the south is predominantly christians only those christians who convert to islam will recieve any aid

rich countries do a lot to assist the poorer ones but what are the poorer ones doing to assist themselves

why isnt the money made from oil by saudi arabia distributed more fairly in saudi why is it controlled by the royal family

what are the rich in poorer countries doing to help their own poor

osama bin laden spent so much money fighting the americans with that money he could have built schools hospitals and roads in afghanistan

dont choose easy targets if you want to point the finger try to pick a hard target

  9. This is actually a fairly complex question to answer. Rich countries do help poor countries, but there is no such thing as "enough."  If a country suddenly granted a poor country a massive amount of money, that country's currency/money supply would become less scarce - inflation would result, and the money would become devalued -as if no money had been given at all. The only way for a poor country to grow rich is to start businesses, produce products/services that others want. When they do this, other people buy their products/services - money would be flowing in.  If a rich country just gave Haiti $100 billion dollars, in addition to the inflation problem mentioned above, Haiti would just give that money back to other countries in the form of imports, because Haiti does not produce enough of its own products to survive. If Haiti, instead, were to use that money to build a steel factory, or a computer manufacturing plant, or produce high-demand crops, then Haiti would grow and eventually become rich over a period of time - all else being equal.

Now that you understand a few facts about basic economic reality, I have to add a few important qualifications: Since the US, Britain, Germany, etc were "early adopters" of products like TV's, Cars, etc, they enjoyed a "competitive advantage"  (i'm abusing the term) that other countries did not possess 75 years ago. Their early dominance makes it hard for new entrants to enter the field. In microchips, however, several Asian countries were able to steal the US's early lead, and now have control of that market. It is possible for new (poor) countries to snatch an existing market, but it is pretty rare. The rich countries have the money/resources to maintain their dominance. The poor countries do not.

Also, US firms do not necessarily want to see other countries do well -because it means less money for them. so there is a greed factor involved.

Also, remember that the US and Europe historically gained their early advantage by, among other things, theft via colonization and slavery.

It would take a worldwide revolution to reverse the current state of affairs. With education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, some poor countries MIGHT be able to become rich EVENTUALLY - but it is few and far between.

    We'll see what happens.

  10. The U.S. of A has donated countless trillions in the form of relief and educational programs for "poor countries."  Maybe the question you should be asking is why those countries are "poor" in the first place...could it be governmental corruption and greed, socialist politics or maybe the citizens are too lazy to actually get up and do something about it themselves?!?!?

  11. it is not based the name of the country but on the character of their leaders from their humanity......

  12. well rich countries cannot just  help poor countries, they could just give them aides, that means they could borrow but they need to replace or pay for what they've got. They could assist but not to the extent of helping them to become rich, they will will give help in order to make life a little better than their present situation.SAME reason why they are rich , it is because they make every single move ....profitable

  13. Why should we be obligated to?

  14. because rich countries know how hard is to became rich and they want to make poor countries same

              hard work

  15. Because they want their hegemonistic domination everywhere.
