Why should I get the blackberry curve 8310 phone?

Question

It's one of the phones I can get as an upgrade. Why should I get it or why not? Keep in mind that I want a phone mostly for easy internet access/email organising and obviously as a phone. If this isn't the best phone for those kind of things what is?

I would recommend the Curve 8310 as it is a great device. It will do what you need (Internet access, e-mail and phone). Note that you will need to purchase the BlackBerry data plan in order to have this functionality (Internet access and e-mail). That is an additional $30 per month.

The device also comes with internal GPS, so you can use a mapping software (like the free Google Maps Mobile) to get turn-by-turn directions. There is also a decent media player so you can listen to music and watch videos on the device. A camera is on the device as well for taking pictures if you like.
