Why should I leave the US,to say my peace, when I see the politicans make a laughing stock out of the US.?

I hear people say if you don't like here leave. What gives the politicans and the other morons the right to run the US in the ground without a fight. We vote but once someone is in office they start only thinking of themself and there buddies. Prices are going up and wages are going down or across seas. This country is headed for a brick wall with the small man in front that will take the hit first. WAKE UP PEOPLE , make your voice heard,protest,protest and change the way we live. Stop comsuming so much. Learn to live with a small car, learn to grow a small garden and quit buying on impluse. They love those things. Trucks go on strike,nothing gets to where they should go even in Washington DC. without you.

Good question:

First, I doubt anyone told you to leave the US because of your stance on the economy or using less energy.  It is usually a much more controversial issue than those.

Here is what I believe.  During the election season, you should fight for what you believe.  But, if you lose the election, and you continue to fight the system, you are unamerican.  Because, it shows, you want it your way no matter what, and that isn't democracy.

If your elected officials say that loggers can cut down some trees....then, thats it, case closed.  If you go out in the woods and do sabotage then you are a terrorist.  What you should be doing is try to get different people elected.

When Clinton was president, you didn't see a bunch of people leaking secret national security information to the press.  The last eight years, many in government have been giving away secrets to the press, because they hate GW..  And probably because they favor g*y marriage and/or abortion.

Funny thing is:  when Islam takes over, both of those issues will be settled, along with women's rights, separation of church and state, and on and on.

Seriously, we are too busy with our own lives to do anything about anything. Otherwise we would have insisted on impeachment. Risen up against Washington and taken our country back 2 years ago.

Politicians are the same no matter what country they are running...yes we elect them in the free world, but as you say once they get into office they change.  A lot has to do with the opposition bucking everything that the man in office tries to do...no one wants any leader getting a good name right off the bat, keep trying to knock him down, make the populace hate their choice for a leader.  Happens every time.  

Prices are going up all over, fuel is through the roof, thus everything else follows, plants close, people are laid off..no income, welfare lines will be the norm, history does repeat itself.  You will see that through history, the top notch nation that seems to be leading the world and in the lime light will surely fall at some time...remember reading about the Roman Empire, and all of the others that have followed.  

People will have to tighten their belts, and forget the luxuries like the second car, the huge mansion, the gardener, the pool, shopping sprees, SUVs and all of the frills that we think that we must have in order to get through a day.  

Leaving the  U.S. will not solve the problem, it will only follow.  You seem to have a grip on the problem and you know the solutions that you must follow, hopefully others will follow, but some will never get it till it is too late for them.  But the survivors will be here to pick up the pieces.

The only people I would suggest leaving this country are the ones who blast it while on foreign shores.  Saying what you think and fighting for it in a civilized way is what this country is suppose to be about.  With that said, if your views are so radical to the majority, then at some point you need to accept that.  

I agree we think we NEED things that we don't need.  Many things can be repaired and still work.  

And what happen to BUY AMERICAN?  We do have the power of the dollar (no matter how weakened it is).  If we insist on American Made and refuse foreign made, it will come.
