Why should I like THE Brian Kendrick?

Question

I like the fact that WWE is actually giving a smaller guy a push...but I think they are going about it the wrong way, giving Brian Kendrick a gimmick that seems like a watered down cross-pollination between the Rock and Shawn Micheals.

He's a good wrestler but I don't think he should be called THE Brian Kendrick yet. Start out by making him beat a few really popular wrestlers then start calling him THE Brian Kendrick and I think he'd be good from there on.

i actually like him he's a great cruiser weight and his gimmick has been done before but he's good at it. ( ican see him moving u to u.s title soon). you should like him becasue he's omeone that can wrestle a good match and someone that's new and fresh (cough cena cough)

You should like him because he has one of the followings: charisma, mic skills, and technical/highflying abilites thats what make a great champion some thing that Batista nor Cena don't have which I don't mind.

THE Brian Kendrick is yet another reason why the WWE should bring back the Cruiser weight Title.  Yes, he does have great mic skills, and yes he has charisma, but the simple fact of the matter is.....he is not big enough to legitimately beat heavyweights on a consistent basis.  The reason why he doesn't quite "fit" in the Scramble, is because if he were to WIN that match, it would totally spit in the face of everything that is logical in the universe. A guy who weighs 200 lbs has NO CHANCE against four other guys who outweigh him by at least 35 pounds each, and it doesn't matter how good his mic skills or charisma are when he has HHH who's 265 lbs, pounding his head in....

When you think about it, most gimmicks in today's wrestling are in one way or another rehashed from the past. Wrestling is like the movies in the sense that it's running out of ideas because everything has pretty much been done already, so they put little twists and turns into it to make it not EXACTLY like the previous gimmick. Take Razor Ramon and Carlito, for example. Similiar gimmicks, but Carlito did the apple spit, something Ramon never did. So, Brian Kendrick may have some aspects of Shawn's early 90s persona, but it's not entirely the same.
