  1. Why is it so much work for you?  Do you perhaps live in an area that doesn't offer recycling?  If so, and you look around you at all that space and say what does it matter, I'm just one person how can what I do make a difference I don't live in the city.  Well I'm here to say it does matter. Cans, glass and plastic don't break down like paper and garbage.  They last a long time, and create hazardous conditions.  Cans will rust and can cut as can glass.  Plastics just last forever and look disgusting because they are light and blow in the wind and get stuck in trees on you lawn and so on.  So the minor effort it takes to take the garbage to the curb or drop of at your recycling center is worth it. You are not one person but millions.  Your actions are theirs.

  2. What in this world that is worthwhile and important doesn't involve a little work! And it's really not much work when you find a place and get into the habit. Watch Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. It will open your eyes.

  3. It's really not that much work.  I recycle because I don't want my children and grandchildren (and so on) to live in a world that is full of garbage.  I do it because I care.

  4. because i all going to die. That is the reason for globel warming. Proably in the next two years we all goin to day

  5. because if we don't recycle the Earth will eventually be a giant landfill.

In the past did your ancestors ask 'why should I put my rubbish in a bin when it's so much easier to throw it out the window?' :)

  6. It's the least you can do to minimize pollution. If not for others...do it for your own self. Be part of the solution!

  7. What will be the consequenses if you don't? Besides, depending on what state you live in, you could be paid for recycling cans and bottles-who wouldn't want money for something they'd otherwise just throw away? What kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in-you decide based on your actions today. People move to a better area when the neighborhood goes bad. Where will we go when the planet goes bad? Time to wake up and start caring.
