Every time you over use electricity and squeeze the electrons through the circuit they get irritated.  Eventually they will get mad enough to shock you!  Never mind the environmental impact from generating it or the cost. ;-)

Don't do it for Leo DiCaprio, Al Gore or any of the earnestly smug worriers on this site.  Do it for your pocketbook.

basic laws of physics...matter and energy can neither created or destroyed.....only changed in form

so when you waste electricity, coal or oil must be burned (changed in form) to supply heat to run turbines to provide electricity, so you can leave your tv on when you go to the mall

and everyone knows there is an endless supply of oil so you can leave your tv on when you go to the mall
