Before too long you'll have to know Spanish to do any business in the US. I don't know about New Zealand. But yes, it will help. We can't resist a Latin Lover.

New Zealand (and Australia too) are now doing more bussineses with South American countries like Chile and Peru. There is a very big market there.

And, about the ladies, yes, it can be helpful. I think Spanish in New Zealand still is very exotic (not like in the USA).
