Why should a friend not use a Ouija board?

I'm with my friends and I'm trying to convince him to NOT use a Ouija board

i dont want anyone telling me that there not real

i want experiences, real experiances thanks, bad ones

why shouldnt her use one

it's not a game. i had friends that used it. not saying what happened. for someone that doesn't know much about using one they shouldn't try it. they might not like the outcome and won't be ready for it.

Any bad experiences in using a ouija board result from very active imaginations.  If they want to use a ouija board, it is not a big deal.  Use common sense.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  It does not communicate with the dead and it does not contact spirits.  It does not open any portals to the underworld or to anywhere else.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

you can't stop your friend from using it unless their in your house, i use it and it is a real experience.

yes ouiji boards r real but they are boards basically dwn2da point filld wit demons......................if i were u i wud jus leave if dey playd...i luv my friends but u shudnt hang around dem if dey r goin2do sumthin dat u feel uncomfortable about...........if dey wnt2play wit sumthn n da spirit world tell dem2go ahead bc there r plenty of things out there that will play bak wit dem and i dnt mean duck duck goose

Ouija boards can be dangerous but people use them every day and we dont hear about anything bad happening to them. he is probably going to use it no matter what you say. safest way to use it is with atleast 1 other person. nobody should do it alone. always think logical. if you think the spirit is inside you your brain would be the first to know. always remain calm because fear puts you in a weakend state which makes it easier for a spirit to take control of things around you  or even take control of you. and the most important thing is to never ask it what you dont want to know.

one of the most famous storys is the kid that asked if she would be with her boyfriend forever and it said no and when she asked why the board said death and the next day her boyfriend died. this is a story that is usually heard from a friend about a friend so you can see how reliable it actually is. most stories thats told about a friend of a friend are fake or highly exaggerated.

Not my experience but a cousins. She and several people decided one dark and stormy night to have some "Fun" by "playing" the Ouija Board. They didn't take it serious. In my cousins small, closed off room and by candlelight they started. Not too long, there were eerie noises and voices coming out all around. Shadows moving closer and darkness surrounding them. They were not able to move or speak. The pointer moved by itself. They refused to say what it said. Something dark came out of the doorway instead of light. When someone from outside opened the door and turned on the lights, they were finally able to move & speak. My cousin wasn't lucky because the dark thing attached itself to her and she wasn't able to speak, mind wasn't all there, and she was a little deaf. A week or so later at the doctor's office they found a lump that wasn't there before and operated. She is a little better, able to speak, hearing back, but her mind is missing memories of that night and sometimes hard to remember things. We don't remind her of that because it just might reattach to her. Be safe in all things Supernatural.
