Why should a sensible person believe in man made stories about Gods/Goddess when you see people suffering ?

no one suffers like Jesus Christ did.  Not even close.  Sin is the cause of all suffering.  But through Christ who strengthens, you can get through the suffering.  My ex-father n law, died from prostate cancer.  In the end it had spread to his bones then his brain.  He praised God throughout all of it, cause he knew as soon as his eyes closed in this world, they would open in heaven.

I don't know why you think a belief in God would somehow stop suffering. Its other people who cause most of the suffering in this world not God. And my belief in my purpose here on earth, Gods plan for me, is actually supported by that suffering. We are here to make choices, to draw closer to God, or farther away from him. He has given us the right of free agency. It is not in this life that we are promised Happiness but the one after. Here is for enduring, for keeping our faith, for inner peace, and for spreading the light of Christ through the darkness.

In the garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the 'Tree of the knowledge of good and bad', they brought into question Gods right to rule mankind. Had God simply smote these rebels it would have proved nothing and the question would still be there.

"Does God have the right to rule mankind? shouldnt humans be in charge of what they do?"

So, God had to give humans a chance to rule themselves without any intervention from Him. And, when there is no doubt that humans cannot rule themselves, God will step in and sort everything out. You dont have to believe this but it is the answer to your question. The state of the world today clearly shows that humans should not be in charge.

Yes, there was a time in history when  gods and goddesses lived-that was about 5000 years ago in a kingdom called heaven which was created by God for His children.

At that point in time, there was no suffering, sorrow or  death but happiness, peace and prosperity. Sadly enough, that period is gone but the good news is that it will come back again.

Our lives are not meant be easy that is why we are here and not in Heaven. People can help the majority of people suffering in this world, but they tend to ignore them and focus on other things such as greed.

Well I do believe that God is our holy father and the reason why people are suffering is because they were born into sin.  We all are.  In God's eyes were are adulturers, liars, thieves, and we should get punished for our crimes.  The fact is that we can repent and ask for forgiveness because Jesus died for our sins.

Why should sensible people believe man-made stories about scientific observations and conclusions when you see people suffering?  Why should sensible people believe man-made stories concerning the evidence to support the existence of gods when you see people suffering?

Don't assume that because you've heard one god loves everyone and is good that all gods are similar.  Take the time to actually do a little research before you question all unequivocably because the claims of one seem invalid.

What does one have to do with the other?  People suffer.  God exists.  Two facts.  To simply say that God is responsible for the suffering, either by causing it or failing to prevent it, is too simplistic a view.  It is true that many people have found God's grace and mercy during a time of suffering and have been able to endure or even overcome their circumstances.

God's nature is love. Be certain of that.  If something or someone suggests otherwise, it is because not all the facts are known.
