Question:

Why should a woman be forced to have a baby?

Isn't it her choice, her right to privacy? If a woman has the right to vote, shouldn't she have the right whether or not she wants a baby? Why should someone else tell her she should have it because her "fetus" is a "living thing?"

  1. I totally agree with you. Mcplain will not get my vote!

  2. Well lets think this through.....she doesn't have to be forced to have a baby. She has several decisions along the way. First, whether to have s*x. Second, what kind of birth control? Third, the morning after pill. Fourth, what kind of s*x she and her partner have. Why would you even need to abort a baby? Women aren't stupid, right? These choices have been around for quite some time. We teach s*x ed in our public schools, so if Mom or Dad or big Sister or BFF doesn't teach you, a paid government employee, your teacher, will. Meanwhile, you want to run down a mother of 5 who knew her child would have Downs syndrome, but chose to have, support and love that child anyway. Nice job!

  3. Yes a woman has a right not to have a baby it is her choice to lay down and get pregnant after she is pregnant it is the baby's right to live. Why should a baby have to die for his mothers mistakes or the mistake of someone else? Baby's can be put up for adoption so it not like she has to raise or even see it again. We are talking 9 months of her life not the rest of her life.

You probably have no idea how they abort babies. Let me just tell you they burn, cut up and crush their skulls all while they are ALIVE they use nothing to dull their pain. When they do surgery on babies before they are born they do use something to dull their pain but not to KILL them. Most young women have no idea how they are going to kill their child or that is going to hurt their baby.

Yes I understand that women are abused and get pregnant but that is why they have procedures you go through to make sure that does not happen. To share a story I know a women who was abused and choose to have the baby anyway and he is the light of her world now she adores him. Good can come from bad.

So tell me where is the baby's right to live? Who will speak for the innocent who cannot speak for themselves? Anytime anyone engages in a intimate way they have to be prepared to be a parent if you are not prepared to handle the consequences don't engage in activity that could put you in that position end of story.

  4. Nobody can say authoritatively at what point a fetus begins to deserve the same rights as people. I think it is best to be safe and leave that decision up to the woman who is carrying the fetus in her own body.

  5. Same reason I'm forced to put up with you. Sure, I'd love to get rid of you, but you have a right to exist. It's annoying, but that's part of what morality is about, not killing people just because they're inconvenient.

Just ask McCain's new VP. She'll tell you.

  6. When you start playing with the 6 inch decision, you are making a choice, no one is forcing you to do a thing.

    Stupid question.

  7. it depends on the situation and how far the baby is in development.  For most women(mostly teenagers) who have unplanned pregnancies, its a sad reality that they screwed up... Is it okay for your daughter to have s*x then get pregnant???? No its not.....people treat s*x and pregnancies as jokes....these are serious matters with real consequences.  It's not always about the womans choice, sometimes it's about for lack of a better word her being a w***e

  8. This is a personal choice that should be made by the woman. However, if McCain & Palin get in office, women will NOT have a choice.

  9. Why should a woman who just had a baby have her arm twisted to run for national office?

Doesn't that fly in the face of family values voters? Mrs Palin won't be home to take care of her responsibilities as mother of many young children.

And she did this at the behest of a tired old man pursuing his final ambition.

  10. Some people believe that life begins at conception, and as it is a living human, it has rights under the constitution.

PS Voting and abortions are two separate issues entirely.

  11. You are a male so what is it to you..

Nothing is going to change with Roe vs Wade... a President cant change a thing...and its not going to change....I'm a Republican, pro choice , I have fought ths fight  much longer than you were alive .

I was protesting in the 60's 70's,80's 90's for pro choice...so dont worry your pretty little head.... I think the women can take care of themselves.  they have been doing it without the help of a man and will continue to do so.

Just be sure you protect your self and your partner.

  12. She also had the right to use a condom and birth control, and failed to do that, and she should stand up to the responsibility and raise the child, and as should the father.

  13. I agree! It should be up to the mother to decide that not anyone else! It we let Mc(CAIN) into the White House, women wouldnt be able to do anything anymore.

  14. It takes two to become pregnant.  The father is just a liable as the mother.  If the women and/or man isn't ready for a baby, then why go all the way?  The choice is made during intercourse.  Parents should be held accountable for their actions.  This is a different scenario if the woman is raped.

  15. If the woman didn't want a child; she should have taken precautions.

    1) remain a virgin

    2) make the man wear a condom

    3) suffer the consequences that comes with having s*x outside of marriage

  16. I have never seen a law that forces women to get pregnant. Science has advanced pretty far and in this day and age we actually know where babies come from. If you don't want a baby, it's really not that hard to prevent man.

  17. Where does life begin?

If there is an accident what is the first thing the medics do? Check the victims for a pulse. If there is a pulse, then there is life. No pulse, no life.

Let's apply that to the unborn. There is a pulse between the 18th and 27th day after conception. Therefore, there is life.

Does a woman have the right to destroy it, simply because it's inconvient?

  18. I'm pro-choice. But I think ALOT has to be done in this country to educate young women AND men about s*x and protection and the consequences. It's sad that these basics are not covered. Absitnance is a good idea but let's face it, it just doesn't happen.

Obama wants to increase education of these very things.

The fact that Palin does not believe in abortion for victims of rape or incest sickens me.

  19. More than 99% of the time, having     was a choice that the woman made. As a result she got pregnant, and another living being with completely individual DNA is growing inside of her.

Our society limits people's choices all of the time, particularly when another person is involved. I don't have the choice to take something that belongs to someone else,      someone, or kill them. It doesn't matter that I should have the right to do what I want with my body, if I'm hurting someone else you would applaud anything that stopped me, not argue that I have a right to privacy.

Of course now it comes... "it's not a person yet" Well when will it be? when it can breathe by itself, or feed itself? Those are arbitrary milestones. What if I am in an          and temporarily unable to take care of myself? Do I lose any person hood? Of course not.

  20. Choice is certainly a woman's right.  However, that choice should be made before s*x, not after.

When do you feel you should have been allowed human rights and the protection against murder?  Was your life only valued after you were born, or was your life given value before you first screamed?

    Why are you more special?

Choice and privacy are rights I am all for...but I am also for your right to live...and the right of unborn children.

  21. well she is the one who got pregnant in the first place and shouldn't be sleeping around if she doesn't want or cant take care of another living life. Its not the baby's fault for being brought into this world and its not fare that the baby cant have a say in what the descion would be. some situations are different like if a woman is rapped but there are other options such as adoption instead of abortion!  they say that about 70-90% of women regret that descion of aborting a baby and if they could they would take it back. voting and abortion are two different things! one involves a living life that doesn't have a say.

  22. In some ways I agree with you, yet in some I don't.

I do believe that women should be allowed to get an abortion in the case of rape, incest, or it is going to harm the mother, or something is wrong with the baby.

However, I do dissagree with the women that think that Abortion is a form of birth control. I know someone who has had over eight abortions. I am sorry, but that is just wrong. If you cannot handle the consequences of possibly being pregnant, than you should not be having s*x, and if men do not want to become fathers possibly, they should not be having s*x either.

  23. Because she chose to have s*x when she wasn't prepared for the possibility of having a child.  Don't get me wrong; both partners are responsible without a doubt.  That said, the woman biologically has the burden of carrying the child, but that doesn't give her the right to take the life of another human being because they made an ill-considered decision to engage in a s*x act when not willing to deal with the consequences.  Even as a teenager, I understood this.  I knew if I stuck my p***s in a v****a, birth control or not, there was a risk of making a baby.

  24. Do you have any idea how horrible it is for a woman to have an abortion in the first place?? The body was not meant to deal with the baby being ripped from the womb. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many health complications are a result of abortion, both mentally and physically. As far as a woman's choice to have a baby she made the choice when she had s*x.

And in the case of incest and rape, it's not the baby's fault what it's father did to the woman (see above statement on health concerns)

Why women would rather rally together to have this "right" instead of rallying together for the sake of their health is BEYOND me!!

Random fact: early feminists in the days of Susan B Anthony were against abortion because it was a disgrace to a woman's body.

  25. She does have the right to say she doesnt want a baby. (canadian charter of rights and freedoms for canada and the delaration of independence for americans and i don't know about other countrys but they will all tell you she has that right)

  26. Since it is the baby's life, it should be the baby's choice, not the woman's. And since the baby can't choose for itself, it's the woman's responsibility to have the child. It's as simple as that. Stop being selfish.

  27. she has a choice whether or not to get knocked up.  if she didn't want to get knocked up, maybe she use use birth control or practice abstinence.

a woman is pregnant and she plans to have an abortion.  if she gets murdered, how many murder charges would the guy be charged with?  1 or 2?  two.  why?  because a fetus is considered a living person.  so, if a woman decides to abort, wouldn't she be committing murder?

  28. If a woman knowingly- knowingly goes to a clinic, hospital, etc and finds out they are about to have a child with Downs Syndrome, and they abort it- that's murder, a choice she made and will have to live with the rest of her life. At the moment of conception, women lose that right because now she has more than one person to consider. She knowingly has s*x- chooses not to use protection, she is liable, the same goes for the man- hold accountability and responsibility towards our own bodies.

Someone gave us life, doesn't one think to honor it back?

  29. democrats believe it takes a village to raise a child.

pretty soon, the democrats will be telling everyone when and how we can have s*x.  and how many children we must have.

i thought that was only in china....

  30. If they want it to live, why not get it out of her and stick it in a tank somewhere, let them take care of it.

I've read they can put embryos in cows now, first mother to adopt before the child was born, quite a revolutionary birthing isn't it?

  31. If you truely have an open mind about this then lets think about it. Doesnt a little part of you, maybe just a tiny bit, think that killing an underdeveloped human inside the womb is just wrong? I feel that, one day, we will all look back at these times and say..I can't believe we were so barbaric back then. Kind of like its hard to imagine that slavery was ok at one time in our history.
