Why should i do this or why should i not do this?

we broke up but i cant stop thinking about her... its been 2.5 months we communicate with general messages. She leaves for rome in September and i want to surprise her and tell her that i don't want to be without her!! i am thinking if i do this that i will compose a letter on the plane so that my words don't get all mixed up.

is this smart... should i chase after her??

I think that whether its "smart" or not depends on three things.

1. Why did you two break up in the first place? Was it something unforgivable, or was it a misunderstanding that could be fixed? If it was unforgivable on either side, just let it go.

2. Has whatever driven you apart been fixed/dealt with? If not, there is little possibility of repairing the relationship. Its not right to assume that it will be better/different this time, if every thing else is still the same.

3. Has she moved on, or told you to? Is the move/trip part of that process? If she doesn't want to try, you can't make her accept you back. Has she given you any idea that there may be a chance? If not, you are setting yourself up for more heartache.

If you love her dont consider it chasing after her. Just do it. You should either be straight forward and tel her to her face or you an right a heart felt letter n explain your feelings and thoughts.
