Why should illegal music downloading be legalized?

We are going to deliver a persuasive speech and my objective is to persuade that illegal music downloading should be legalized. I need some reasons and basis for my arguments on why it should really be legalized. It would really help if you could also give some reference that supports its legalization. Thanks!

because people shouldnt make music just for making money. People should make music for free just to make people happy. Thats all.
