Why should marijuana stay ILLEGAL?

people say all the time that is should be legal and they give their reasons why. i would like to hear from the people who are against legalization. why it should stay illegal??

in my country when people are sick or have a sick footh they boil the leaft and drink or people who have bone problem

I don't think it should, but for arguments sake I'll give you some reasons. It would be devastating to the economy to legalize it. Do you realize that prisons would have many empty beds and the families of corrections officers would go hungry? Probation officers would sit idle and collect no fines. Drug rehabilitation centers would suffer financially as there would suddenly be far fewer coerced patients for them to treat. Pharmaceutical companies would lose billions as people began to use it as medicine. Think about it.

By the way, cannabis interferes with brainwashing and mind control. We can't have that, now can we?
