Why should men be responsible for putting the toilet seat down

whats wrong with men putting it up and women putting it down. geez is it really that hard to drop the stupid seat before you park you butt on the pot???

I would think because it is a respectable and nice gesture but then men are not always very nice or respectable. There are however exceptions to the rule.

When I'm just taking a squirt, I put the seat up, but when I'm dropping chuds, it's down.  So, she only has to put it down maybe half the time.  She could live with that, wouldn't you think?

Men should put the toilet seat down. There are many good reasons for this nice habit. After all, men do not have to half undress to use the bathroom. They do not have sit and stand back up. Taking a few extra seconds to leave the toilet seat down is not that difficult a challenge for men.

One of the reasons that men should put the toilet down is to keep women in the home from falling into the toilet. Women go to the restroom more times a day then men.

Another reason men should put the toilet seat down is to protect pets. Pets are more likely to lean over the edge of the bare toilet and drink water or even drown then the toilet seat edge. Some pets are nervous about toilet seats. If the toilet seat is up, the toilet bowl seems to call to pets to drink and play in them.

I have to agree with you...

if we have to lift it to do our duty... why can't the other gender do the same thing???   I feel it's only fair.  They want equality... we should give it to them.

But... if your house is anything like mine... it's  "yes dear, I put the lid down".   It's just easier not to argue.

because u put it up put it back where it was.. if it was up already u probly did it hahahah. and when anyone really need to go tyou dont wanna run in sit down and fall in... yuck

That's the rule in MY house. By God, if I have to lift it up, she sure as heck can lower it back down, and I don't want to hear any whining.

because it's not our fault 'men' can't take a leak without leaving drops of pee on the toilet seat, which means you lifted the seat up cause you had to not cause we asked you to.

When there are  children in the house the seat should be down. It takes awhile for them to understand that it needs to be down when you potty train them.

tell you what tell you girl that you dont want to have to worry about putting it down so from now on you are just going to pee standing up with the seat down adn that first time she sits on your p**s she will want to compromise more
