  1. If you are going to relocate them, who will compensate them for the land they have lost that they owned in the dangerous area?

  2. Amazingly, it's still a free country in certainly limited ways.  While in most cases taking risks has been outlawed by consumerists, there are still some areas where you can still take a risk.

  3. they can rebuild smarter with current technology

  4. I live in FL and I have a cinder block house and have only had to rebuild my roof... as far as those who build on the sand... and FEMA helps... THAT is a no no ... the rest of us pay insurance, THEY need to pay some too... but they cant because no one will insure something that is GUARANTEED to flush away during a storm.

I have lived here 16 years and it never fails to amaze me.

  5. well, they are retarded, but in places like florida, they can accually make homes hurrican proof, there is just a little thing called money.

  6. Um....a natural disaster can happen anywhere.

  7. Because this is a free country by definition...many times it is because it is where they are born so they have a strong connection to the place.
