The whole thing seems like a complete waste of time. All the legal nonsense. It is invariably a setup for disaster. Look at what some people put up with in a marriage.

  1. Because most poeple think with their s*x organs than with their head and don't really consider what marriage really is.

I know I am marrying because I am in love, he is my best friend and we take care of each other and are equal partners.

If all that wasn't there....I sure as h**l wouldn't be doing it.

  2. Haha that's funny, Trolled with a link to a troll.

I can't wait for school to start again... the kiddies will have something better to do.

  3. It's all about maturity and commitment. It's obviously not for everyone. That's why there is so many Divorces.

  4. Now I've seen it all.  We're being trolled with a link to a troll.

It doesn't matter why people marry.  Every couple has their own reasons and they can vary tremendously.  If it's not for you, then don't do it.

  5. Because they want to. Thankfully, it's up to an individual to decide whether to get married or not.

  6. More than likely - he is what we call a TROLL....

People tolerate what they choose to....Even if it makes them fools.

  7. I married my husband because I want to be with him for EVER. I married him to show him that I am, and will always be 100% comitted to our relationship and our happiness. I want to have the same last name as him, I want our children to be born into a happy and healthy family with a mom and dad who are married, and who have a strong relationship and who will always be there for them. I married him because I want to share everything in my life with him, the good things and the bad, and I to show him that I will/would not give up on us no matter what.

  8. You only put up with it until you can't anymore......then they leave.  But to answer your question, people 'should' get married b/c the other person completes them....I know how cliche' but really. Your partner is supposed to be there for you, emotionally and physically. Some of the stuff I've read on here, it boggles me on how people will stay in their relationship when they are being physically abused....common sense tells you to get the h**l out. But you will stay until you can't anymore.

  9. The problem with marriage today isn't that it doesn't work, it's that no one takes it seriously and see it as disposable.  Getting married today isn't the same as "till death do us part" its more like, "until you get on every last one of my nerves"...  People do not take the time to make sure the person they are "in love with" is the right person.  They figure hey if it doesn't work out I'll just get divorced.

I waited.  My friends didn't.  I am probably going to married to the same man for life.  While my friends who jumped into it are on marriages 2 and 3 already.
