  1. I find it very interesting that more evidence is coming to light every day it seems and the papers refuse to cover real honest science, but they will cover something like AIT that is fabricated with no supporting evidence that would even be accepted by the average 5th grade teacher. I read the malicious and in bad taste comments to this question and some others in equally bad taste from Bob and Dana and begin to wonder when are they going to break out the torture chambers, the burning stakes and the dipping chairs like their puritan and catholic ancestors used to chastise heretics like us that look only for truth. My ancestors survived the Islamic invasion of Europe on the 1700s. They survived the crusades to recapture the Middle East in the 1100s. They survived both catholic inquisitions and the puritan inquisition in England under Cromwell. I can claim do be a doubter and heretic of probably more than 50 generations at least and we have always been on the side of honor and right against the tyrants of oppression.

[The aim of public education is not] to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence. ... Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim ... is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States... and that is its aim everywhere else. H.L.Mencken

  2. because all the signs are supporting it and what about those who were dead right!

  3. Hmm should I believe a guy with a bachelor's degree in math or the National Academy of Sciences?

Tough call.  I'm going to have to go with the NAS and conclude Mann didn't lie.  I'm also going to have to conclude that even if Mann did somehow "lie", he and his cohorts are a couple of climate scientists among the tens of thousands who support AGW, and I assume you're not accusing all of them of lying.

  4. "The basic conclusion of Mann et al. (1998, 1999) was that the late 20th century warmth in the Northern Hemisphere was unprecedented during at least the last 1,000 years. This conclusion has subsequently been supported by an array of evidence"

    US National Academy of Sciences.
