  1. because they don't understand yet what they did wrong.It confuses them to be punished or to get a taste of their own medicine.


  2. Teachers look beyond discipline when working with young children because the little kids don't understand what they did wrong. And if they did, the teacher would know (by the child's personality) that the child would get emotional and cry about what he/she had done. Teachers teaching younger children should discipline them because the child could grow up to be a snotty brat that doesn't follow to directions.

Actually teacher shouldn't look beyound discipline as the first action, but after dealing with the issue they should learn what is the cause from the child as to what is going on.  A talk on what is good and bad behavior is necessary with the child.  So when you ask this question do you mean a teachers naturally just punish a child and then do nothing - I would say whoever is asking this question is a fool because teacher don't do that.
