  1. Unless the UN cleans up its horrible track record I cant see a reason to.

  2. As bad as it is the UN is the only hope for peace in the world.

  3. Great question.  They shouldn't. The UN is no longer legit.  The level of corruption has reached a point where it can no longer be covered up.  GET THE U.S. OUT OF THE U.N.!!!!!

  4. Well, do we have much of a choice? We contribute the largest amount of money to the United Nations...we are currently seated in the Security Council's immune top 5...we decide who the security council's OTHER members are; I'd say we really should. Do you recall that it was the United Nation security council that sanctioned North Korea and Iran due to their nuclear weapons and testing? We need the allies of the UN- even if they are not much help. It would be of no use to isolate ourselves and while admittedly it isn't necessarily great for our political standing, we DO have power among the big hitters, and we need to stay powerful or else drown in the sea of up-and-coming countries that will take our spot (if they already haven't begun to)

  5. It doesn't.

  6. I'm only starting to research the UN but I already know it is a nefarious organation. The US is in bed with the UN. The UN is being promoted as the only solution to world peope, but that's just not the case. The UN is one day one day going to be the "government" in the One World Government as planned by the New World Order.

  7. So that the UN doesnt become obselete like the League of Nations did... Superpower must remain a member.

  8. The U.N. should stay out of everyone's business.

    No Justice, no peace.

  9. We shouldn't.  But you know the old saying:  "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"

  10. I don't think the UN does help the US.
