  2. In case you haven't noticed, global warming has become one of the most important discussions in politics and trees play an important role in converting carbon dioxide into oxygen.

    Trees help the environment.

  3. They shouldn't.

    Cutting trees cuts down on uncontrolled forest fires.  If trees and brush were allowed to be cleared and cut in California it wouldn't turn into a giant match every summer, and as we all know one forest fire causes more greenhouse gasses than every vehicle does in one year.

  4. So all those dirtfoot hippies will shut up for a while.
