Why should the liberals oppose the new budget? Pay no attention to the bribery issue.?

This is for a college course. I have to write a 3 page memo to Stephane Dion and use certain issues to get him to reject the new budget. What arguments could i use and add a spin to, to make it sound legit. Frame the argument somehow to make it seem that rejecting is the way to go!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This answer will not help you with your course, but by the liberals not voting on the budget as only 10 liberals showed up for the vote, they look weak. Right now Jack Layton is starting to look like the leader of the opposition. If the liberals do not go to an election soon they risk not looking credible to the Canadian public.
