You are wasting your time. The ACLU is closely aligned with the left wing Liberal Democrats. You can't stop them either. The best thing you can do is live your life as a good Christian and just remember that you are the enemy, not the Muslims.

I don't believe you should. The founding fathers disagreed about the separation of church and state too but came to the conclusion that religion would best be protected by that separation. Dependence on the government leads to more dependence and concerned Christians should worry about staying independent of the government.

Because the ACLU says that they are for every Americans rights. If this is so, why can my child not take her Bible to school or pray out loud, but she gets classes on how to meditate, or they bring in g**s/lesbians to lecture about an alternate lifestyle. Im a US Marine and a Christian and I believe whole heartedly in seperation of church and state, but do not trample on my childrens rights when I have fought to give them those rights.

How ironic.  They don't support your values, so get rid of them.  Just like a neo-con.  Well, they will be there to support your church should it ever require their services, and you will use them.  It's like the police, nobody likes them until they ned one.  Then, they're the salt of the earth.

Because they support the minority in every aspect.  If 80% of people in this country believe in God, why should we remove the commandments from anywhere?  I don't believe posting them, no matter where, has anything to do with seperation of church and state.  God is posted on money, in court rooms and a lot of other places. I also don't believe Christmas trees and the celebration of the birth of Christ has anything to do with seperation of church and state.  Forgive me, but doesn't the White House light up a big " Christmas tree " every year?  If 80% of us couldn't care less about how the non-beleivers or other religions celebrate Christmas, or don't celebrate it, why should the ACLU pander to the other less than one percent that makes a big deal about it?  I think they are useless to the majority of Americans.  We have laws protecting the rights of people in this country.  I think everyone has a right to worship or not to and to take away rights from ther majority is communistic.

Apparently, you've invoked a couple of responses from people who don't understand that the ACLU is a sick, corrupt, America-hating socialist orgainziation. It should be shut down, with every official and employee down to the secretary arrested.

Why,  if our civil liberties are stepped on they will defend you.  Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc. it doesn't matter the ACLU protects the individuals rights, not rights by popular demand!

The ACLU has become so distorted in what they are trying to "protect" as to become ludicrous.  They seek to protect that 1 in 100,000 atheist who is so offended by a Christmas display that he feels threatened.

I don't need my rights "protected" by the likes of them!

I don't know about the Christian's perspective, but every American who values his/her freedoms should seek the neutralization of the ACLU. I'm sure there are many well-meaning people who work in the organization, but the true goals of the ACLU were clear from the group’s founding, as indicated by the writings of its founder, Roger Baldwin: “I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class… Communism is the goal.”
