  1. We shouldn't beg God for things. He doesn't like begging or whining anymore than we do! But He does tell us to ask.

We can work hard and get some of the things we need. God commanded man to work. However, we need God more than we need things but He can't be bought. He freely gives ALL of Himself to those who put their faith in His Son Jesus and seek Him.

  2. Who is begging to God?

Who says you will get what you want after working hard?

  3. No.  we shouldn't "beg" God for anything.  We ask, or entreat, but not beg.  We come to Him as beloved children and He will give us what is best for us.  We come boldly before the throne.  We have the right to call Him "Abba" father, which can be translated as "papa" or "daddy".

  4. exactly - prayer = begging....dirty, filthy beggers

  5. Unless you're an idiot and a complete loser in life, you don't need to beg God for anything. If you believe in Him, you're already saved. You should work hard and get anything you need because you want to. But here is the tricky part. The question is, did you get all that by working hard OR did God bless you because of your diligent work because you tithe? These idiots on TV that tell you to tithe and God will make you a millionaire are idiots and phonies! That is NOT biblical at all.

  6. I don't know why they are always begging him for this and that, when he obviously doesn't give a flying ****!

What kind of monster would only help someone with cancer or whatever they are begging (preying i think they call it) for??

  7. There is no need to beg God, if you do I'm afraid that you are waisting your breath and energy, and God probably doesn't appreciate it either.

God knows our hearts better than we know our own hearts.  He knows what we need/want before we even ask, so when we do ask, we only have to ask once then sit back and allow God's will to be done.

Your prayer might not be answered in the way that you hope, but it will be answered, you just have to sit back and leave it in God's hands, and continue to work hard for the things that are in our control.
